When 2 officers decided they couldn't stop 100's of cyclists leagally going about their business one of them push a rider to the ground "big mistake" he then felt the full vocal force of the mass and insisted all they wanted to do was talk to "The Organiser" a couple of riders explained there isn't one and handed him The Critical Mass flier explaining such wich led to another argument a motor cycle cop then joined in who was ordered to get to the front of the mass and stop the leader. I saw atleast one cyclist get booked I guess for trafic light offence as further along maybe near the Bank of England ??? there seemed to be several officers waiting for us. not sure where we went then but another confrontation with the same motor cycle Knob grabbing hold of someone then standing infront of a bus that was being expertly corked and with 2 hands over his head ordered the bus driver to drive on !!! I guess in the training manual somewhere it must say If a few cyclists piss you off it's ok to get a double decker bus and kill a few of them !!!! Anyway all this split us up a bit but what a great move Tower Bridge was to re group. If we ever get an organiser they could learn from last night. Oh and if the Police want to learn how to deal with the Mass go and ask the security Guards at Tower Bridge Complex !!!!!!
And I almost forgot to mention the the very start, a dick in an empty double decker bus trying to force his his way through the mass red lineing the rev counter but it soon ended when one brave sole ignoring the fumes and black smoke found the engine cut of switch under the back cover all this and were not even on waterloo bridge yet. What is it with bus drivers all of a sudden they should be on our side thats all part of what were about isn't it ? or did the cabs and buses swap drivers for the night. On the night I thought the cabbies seemed pretty relaxed about it all .
A Prompt start and a pretty central end made it for me a Great night Thanks to all.
Steve.

Havent had a chance, work, to get to any CM's since the Halloween ride when a few of us didnt have any idea where we ended up, the cemetry. Thanks to the paramedic on a bike we made it back to Fenchurch St.
Anyway, last night. Just want to say what a fantastic job all those who took part in the corking did. We went past the bus just before Waterloo Bridge, so must have missed the engine switch off, lol. We left the mass just after Aldgate but it looked as though it was still going strong at that point.
I really had some reservations about how CM was going to go when the old bill stopped turning up. But it's quite plain to see now most off the hold ups etc where only ever caused by one group of people.
Penny.
